Ground transportation
The airport is located within Valencia’s urban area, near the industrial district and La Isabelica neighborhood. The main access roads are Avenida Ernesto Branger and Avenida Iribarren Borges, which connect to the city’s road network and the Autopista Regional del Centro highway. The drive to the city center usually takes 20–25 minutes, depending on traffic.
Taxis are the most convenient option for passengers traveling with luggage or continuing to other municipalities in Carabobo State. For longer journeys, particularly to Maracay or other cities in central Venezuela, it is advisable to agree on the fare before departure.
Passengers can also arrange a private transfer in advance with airport pickup.
TransCarabobo route 2 connects areas along Iribarren Borges with La Isabelica, but it does not provide a direct pickup service outside the passenger terminal.
To use public transportation, passengers need to reach the bus stops on the roads outside the airport grounds. Travelers carrying large amounts of luggage or unfamiliar with the area will generally find a taxi more convenient.
