Flight departures and arrivals
Check real-time flight status at Las Vegas - Harry Reid Airport (LAS). Review schedules and possible delays before heading to the terminal or arranging your transportation.
Renamed in 2021 in honor of former U.S. Senator Harry Reid, the airport is particularly notable for its slot machines and gaming areas throughout the terminals, reflecting Las Vegas’s close association with gambling and entertainment. This distinctive feature sets LAS apart from most major commercial airports in the United States.
Ground transportation
The airport is located close to the Las Vegas Strip, the city’s main resort and entertainment corridor, with road access via Paradise Road, Tropicana Avenue and the surrounding highway network. Transportation options include taxis, ride-hailing services, RTC public buses, shared shuttles, private transfers and rental cars. There is no direct rail connection to Downtown Las Vegas or the Las Vegas Monorail.
Uber and Lyft also operate at LAS, but their pickup locations are separate from the taxi stands. At Terminal 1, Ride Share Pickup is located on Level 2 of the parking garage, accessible via a pedestrian bridge from the terminal. At Terminal 3, passengers are picked up on the Valet Level of the parking garage.
Passengers should follow Ride Share signs and check their app for the designated meeting point.
Route 108 Paradise and the Red Line, formerly Route 109 Maryland Parkway, serve the RTC bus stop on Level Zero of Terminal 1, near the ground transportation areas.
Passengers arriving at Terminal 3 can use the complimentary inter-terminal shuttle to reach the bus stop at Terminal 1.
RTC services provide connections to other public transportation routes, although reaching some resorts and tourist destinations may require a transfer. Current routes, fares and schedules are available on the official RTC Southern Nevada website.
Vehicles use designated ground transportation areas at both terminals. At Terminal 1, shared shuttles generally operate from the west side of Baggage Claim, while Terminal 3 has designated pickup areas on Level Zero.
Intercity shuttle and transfer services are also available to towns and tourist destinations in Nevada and neighboring regions. Routes, pickup arrangements and booking requirements vary by operator.
Some shared transfers make several hotel stops before reaching their final destination, so travel times may be longer than by taxi or private transfer.
The center is located at 7135 Gilespie Street, approximately 5 km south of the airport, in a separate facility away from the passenger terminals.
Complimentary Rental Car Shuttle buses connect the center with both terminals. At Terminal 1, buses depart from Level 1, near Baggage Claim. At Terminal 3, pickup areas are located at both ends of the building on Level Zero.
Rental vehicles are returned directly to the Rent-A-Car Center, where passengers can board a shuttle to their departure terminal.
Getting between terminals
Terminals 1 and 3 are located in separate parts of the airport and are not connected by a pedestrian walkway. Passengers traveling between their public areas can use the complimentary Inter-Terminal Shuttle, which stops at designated locations on Level Zero of both terminals.
An automated people mover system also connects several gate areas beyond the security checkpoints. The Blue Line links Terminal 1 with the D Gates, while the Red Line connects the D Gates with Terminal 3. The Green Line provides access between Terminal 1 and the C Gates.
These connections are particularly important for passengers changing flights, as the D Gates serve operations associated with both terminals. Travelers should check their airline’s designated check-in terminal before arriving at the airport.
