Transportation and ground access

The airport is located approximately 10 km southeast of Downtown Nashville, with road access provided by Interstate 40 and the surrounding airport road network. Ground transportation options include taxis, app-based ride services, public buses, shuttles and rental cars.

Taxis and app-based ride services use designated areas within the airport complex.

Ride-hailing services, including Uber and Lyft, operate from the Ground Transportation Center (GTC), located on Level 1 of Terminal Garage 2. The walk between the GTC and the terminal’s Grand Lobby takes less than five minutes.

Public buses, shuttles and other ground transportation operators use designated areas within the Ground Transportation Center, located next to the terminal complex.

WeGo Public Transit operates from the GTC, while hotel shuttles, private operators and other transfer services use assigned areas within the same ground transportation system.

The main rental car companies operate from the Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CONRAC), located next to the terminal complex.

The facility can be reached on foot from the terminal without the need for a shuttle bus.
